ABOUT ME

I was born in 1966 and I live just north of Växjö in the small village of Rottne. Since 33 years back I´ve been working as a chimney sweeper in Växjö County with the aim of preventing  fire.

Late summer of 2009 my paintings were for the first time hanged in Odense, in the Gallery Verket. Later I got in contact with Kunstgalleriet Odense (Odense Art Gallery) where the gallerist Bettina Jepsen and I started a cooperation.

In the spring of 2010 I had an exhibition in Odense, during that exhibition Jörgen Nash paintings were also represented in the gallery (1920-2004 also known for the creation of the art collective "Drakabygget"). The Opening was very interesting for me,  especially so early in to the art buissnes. Since then I have had exhibitions regularly and today sold paintings not only in Scandinavia but in other parts of Europe as well.

Nowadays I paint symbolic still life´s in oil, which can be related to my own experiences of people's different lives, fate and values. You can often resemble the paintings with riddles, that both the viewer's eyes as in my mine, seem humble but also irrational. There is also an awareness of both the simple and the difficult things in life in my works.
